We played hard on Sunday, but we need to work on playing smarter. One of the keys about being a good team is relying on your teammates to do their job. If everyone does what they are responsible to do, we will be successful.

Key learning from the game – don’t wait for the ball to come to you; go get the ball. Waiting for things to happen keeps you on the defensive; goals are scored when players are on the offensive. Let’s continue to play smart and aggressively, and let’s keep getting better.

Next weekend North Plainfield Recreation will host Soccer Day, and we’ll be visited by players from the New Jersey Ironmen. We also have games on Saturday and Sunday. Make sure you all have plenty of rest during the week, and let’s get back in the win column.
